Set the brush in your brush folder - open the tubes
in psp.
Open a new white image - 450 x 600.
Copy the MRC-AnimeElf - Past as a new layer.
Copy the frame xmasscrap1 - Past as a
new layer.
Effects - 3D-Effects - Drop Shadow:
The frame comes before the elf, later
in the lesson we go moving it, so that it looks like the
elf steps out of the frame.
Open xmasscrap9.
You see a number of stabbing.
Activate your Selection tool -
Select the green stitch and copy.
Past as a new layer.
Image - Rotate - Free rotate - Right - 90 - nothing
checked.
Place it in the middle to the top of the frame.
Copy xmasscrap3 - (the red band with buckle) - Past as a
new layer.
Place it down just under the frame.
Give the same Drop shadow.
Activate xmasscrap9 - Select the red stitch - Copy -
Past as a new layer.
Image - Rotate - Free rotate - Right - 90 - nothing
checked.
Place it on the red band
Activate raster 1 (the layer of the elf):
Layers - Duplicate.
Layers - Arrange - on top.
Activate your Erase tool - erase a part of the the back
foot - se image below (I used my free hand selection):
Now it seems as if the elf steps from
the frame.
Activave the white background.
Set your foreground color to green and
your background color to red.
Make a gradient: Linear - Angle 45 - Repeats 2.
Layers - New raster layer.
Activate your Brush tool - find brush agibrush77_snowflakes.
Stamp this with your gradient in the right upper corner.
Now we're going to rotate the brush - rotation to 180:
Stamp it with your gradient below in
the left corner.
Activate the top layer.
Copy xmasscrap4 (the buttons) - Past as a new layer on
te left site.
Give the same Drop shadow.
Copy xmasscrap2 (the candy) - Past as a new layer on the
right site.
Activate xmasscrap9 - Select the little green stitch
from - Copy - Past as a new layer.
Place it on the right site of the
frame - do the same with the little red stitch.
Is everything as you wish?
Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten).
Image - Add borders - Symmetric - 5
pixels - black.
Activate your Macig wand - Select the border - Flood
fill with your gradient.
Selections - Select none.
Activate your Text tool.
I used font ObetteScriptSSK - size 45
- Vector.
Type your text: eg. Merry Christmas -
place it in the left upper corner.
You can also turn your text a bit.
Add your name at the bottom of your
image.
Add your watermark and resize if you want to.
